Facebook Testing New Feature To Support 250 Members in Groups

Just like Facebook added a similar feature to their WhatsApp chating platform, Tech giant, Intergroup Messenger looks to add a 250-person chat feature.

 

It was reported that the new feature will enable users to video and audio calls with up to 50 users in the same group as they are. This is most especially useful to those that are in big groups as such book reading clubs; this functionality will allow them easily converse with each other.

In order to avoid spam, Facebook says it will not spam members with notifications for each messages in the group’s thread until they accept the invitation to join.

 

The new feature begins roll-out today and there is no expected duration for it to last as Facebook plans to release it to groups slowly until all eventually receives it.
