Google is set to roll out a new feature to its WiFi Router. This will serve as a troubleshooting method that will allow you check which device connected to the router is lagging in speed.
As is the case with all wireless connections, Distance can quite literally be a barrier. The farther your device is from a network, The lesser speed you will most likely observe.
According to Google, The feature basically pings each device’s speed and sorts out which one has the lowest connection so you can either move it closer to the router or move the router closer to it since it a mesh WiFi connection. The new feature is expected to be deployed in the coming weeks to the Google WiFi App.
